Seasonal Wildfire Inspector - Squad Leader
We are seeking a Seasonal Wildfire Inspector Squad Leader to help lead our defensible space and home hardening evaluation efforts, to support wildfire preparedness across Marin County. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about community safety, public education, and wildfire prevention; enjoy leading and mentoring a team; and have experience with field inspections, resident education, and data collection using mobile technology. This role works both in the field and office, guiding a squad of seasonal inspectors, conducting and reviewing home evaluations, and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clear communication with residents. This position is ideal for a dependable and thorough leader with experience in wildfire mitigation, defensible space, or community based fieldwork who is passionate about reducing wildfire risk and supporting community safety.
