San Rafael will partner with service providers to perform direct assistance in fuel reduction on private property. Direct assistance primarily targets properties that are considered high hazard and residents with financial and/or mobility challenges. Specific weeks of assistance may be dedicated to specific areas or specific species removal to improve the marketing and use rates. In addition, funds may be used to provide additional grant funds to properties within the San Rafael Zone.
