The San Rafael Zone South San Pedro Mountain Fuel Reduction Project is a collaboration between MWPA, State Parks, and San Rafael Fire Department to reduce invasive weeds, dead and down woody debris, and other fire hazardous vegetation at the edge of China Camp State Park lands that are directly adjacent to several neighborhoods. This project includes approximately 42 acres. Environmental compliance for this project is complete and implementation/maintenance is ongoing.
